Happy March! This morning, we woke up to more snow and at this point, I think we're all ready for some spring sunshine. Although, to be completely fair, this winter hasn't been too bad and it feels like we just celebrated Christmas. On another note, Keith and I just started watching The Assassination of Gianni Versace and it is so good. Have any of you seen it? Other than some TV binging, we have plans to shoot two projects and visit our friends who recently bought their first home in New Jersey!Read More

This week has been a bit of a whirlwind. After traveling with three toddlers (we went to Antigua) and jumping right into a few fashion week events and late night dinners, I'm ready for a long nap. Like so many of us, especially living in such a fast-paced city, I have to remind myself to just sit down and relax. Don't get me wrong; I love it and don't know if I'd thrive any other way, but occasionally, I feel a bit burned out. That's really one of the reasons I've fallen back in love with reading; it gives me an opportunity to curl up on the couch and take a breather. I also equate reading to working out. Once you start and are in a good groove, you want to continue going. On the flip side, once you stop, it's hard to get back into it. Read More

A little over two weeks ago, I was meeting the girls for dinner. At that point, I was itching to escape the cold for a few days and I knew that Keith, who is smack in the middle of his busy season (he was doing the sound on a couple of movies that were premiering at Sundance), was unable to really travel anywhere. Of course, I always want to go away with my husband and family, but I've never been one to turn down a girls trip. Randomly, I asked the girls if they'd want to take the (baby) boys and take a little getaway. I didn't expect such an eager "hell yes," thinking everyone had plans or things going on, but luckily, everyone was game!

Happy Friday! Last night, Keith and I finally watched Bohemian Rhapsody and I was pretty blown away by Rami Maleks performance as Freddie Mercury. He was so good! I still have a lot of Oscar nominated movies to catch up on. The only other one that I've seen is A Star is Born. How about you guys?Read More

I'm pretty excited about todays post! I'm sharing all of the little (and big) things that we reach for on a regular basis that make our lives so much easier. Items I'd recommend to my mother, best friend and obviously, all of you. I take the recommendations I give out seriously and these are all worthy of making the cut. Beauty is in its own separate category, which I'll be sharing next week. It will be a good one! In the meantime, here are ten of my favorite things:Read More

This past week, I shared several things on stories that I received quite a few questions on. From the workouts that I incorporate into my routine, to the exercise bands that I love, to the lunchbox that we use for Nate. Rather than answering all individually, I figured it would be way more informative (and easier) to include in todays post.

I just dropped off Nate in school and I'm taking the opportunity to work on some posts, including finally taking photos of my kitchen. My cleaning lady was here yesterday and my home is never as clean as the day after she leaves. We try to get her every two weeks and I would sooner give up going out to dinner or buying a pair of jeans than not having one. It's truly worth every single penny and it helps keeps us happy and sane. Read More

I listen to my fair share of podcasts, but they're typically the same six: Happier, Goop, Oprah's Super Soul Sunday, The Goal Digger, How I Built This and The GaryVee Audio Experience. I love them all, but in an effort to branch out, I was looking for some other recommendations. Naturally, I turned to all of you on instastories and as always, I received some wonderful recommendations that I dove right into.

And here we are! Happy 2019! It's probably obvious, but I took some time off from the blog so I can focus on my family. Keith was off and rather than stressing over posting, I made the executive decision to take a little break. Behind the scenes, I wanted to get my creative juices flowing, think about new ideas and work on content when I had a creative burst of energy, which honestly, happened quite often these past two weeks. I started drafting a ton of new posts, jotting down things that popped into my head and already, I feel pretty good entering the new year.Read More
