Some of My Favorite Purchases of All Time

paper towel holder, wine glasses, rolling pin, silverware, cabinet pulls. , patterned bowls, large grey bowls
I’m pretty excited about todays post! I’m sharing all of the little (and big) things that we reach for on a regular basis that make our lives so much easier. Items I’d recommend to my mother, best friend and obviously, all of you. I take the recommendations I give out seriously and these are all worthy of making the cut. Beauty is in its own separate category, which I’ll be sharing next week. It will be a good one! In the meantime, here are ten of my favorite things:
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES:
Wolford Bodysuit: I feel a bit silly mentioning this again, but it wouldn’t be a legitimate list without my trusty closet staple. Cost per wear, this turtleneck has paid for itself a long, long time ago. (ps: I take a small)
Black Cashmere Sweater: Along with my Wolford Bodysuit, this black cashmere sweater (worn here) is one of my most worn pieces during the cooler months. It’s just such an easy piece to reach for to look put together without any fuss. I also have this one and alternate between the two.
Loeffler Randall Isla Boots: I always mention these, but they deserve to be on this list. They still remain my most worn boots and considering the heel height, I find them super comfy while still looking chic.
FOR KIDS:
Nate’s Table & Chair Set: If I had a dime for every single time I received a DM asking me where Nate’s table and chair set is from, I’d be a very rich woman. We got it from amazon and while it was a bit pricier than other sets, I really love how sleek and modern it looks in our home. We retired Nate’s highchair a bit earlier than planned because he would just want to sit at his little table. Since then, we use it daily. Here’s another similar option.
Planetbox Lunchbox: I purchased this lunchbox for Nate after seeing a few of my favorite motherhood accounts using it. It’s eco-friendly, easy to clean (I throw in dishwasher) and something I know we’ll be using for years to come. The food does not stay piping hot, but rather, warmish. They come in a variety of sizes and I also added on some car magnets for fun.
OTHER | FOOD, GADGETS & STUFF:
Vitamix Blender: Without a doubt, our most used gadget. It was expensive, but over two years later, I use it several times a week. Mainly for smoothies, protein shakes, soups and frozen cocktails!
Night Pillow: A few months ago, Keith and I upgraded our pillows to these silk pillows from Night and we’ve both been so happy. I know that pillow preference is very subjective, but as stomach and side sleepers, these easily work in every position. I also love knowing that I’m sleeping on silk, which is ideal for our skin and hair. I swear, I wake up with my hair less frizzy and tangled in the morning.
Justin Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon: Okay, maybe this is not something that I reach for on a daily basis, but it sure adds a dose of pleasure into my life. I discovered it after dozens of you said it was your favorite under $30. Obviously, I had to try it to see what the hype was about and of course, you were all so right. When I want to spend a couple of extra bucks in the still affordable category, this has been my go-to.
Bose SoundSport Wireless Headphones: I cannot believe how late I am to the wireless headphone game. I didn’t even know what I was missing, but now I get it. More than anything, working out at the gym has been a game changer (I used to run with the phone IN MY HAND, if you could believe it). I ended up purchasing the Bose Wireless headphones and I am so happy, but I also know that many love their AirPods. For those who have both, do you prefer one over the other? Either way, no more cords for me!
A stylish insulated mug: My good friend told me about this mug a few months ago and it’s been a real game changer. While I appreciate the sleek Japanese design, more importantly, I appreciate how hot it keeps my coffee for hours and hours. I was very skeptical, but it works well and furthermore, does not leak!
